Fairground Side Stalls Coconut Shy
A very rare and fine example of an Edwardian, fully covered, timber framed funfair coconut shy. We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to add this lovely piece to our fair in 2010.
In keeping with our amusements, all the fine decoration is:
- Painted by hand
- Lighting is by incandescent bulbs some of which are protected by original wire cages
- Hand sewn applique sheets decorate the inside
No traditional funfair is complete without the ‘Cokernut Saloon’!

Shooting Saloon / Cork Shooter
Enjoyed on English fairgrounds for many years, adults and children can test their marksmanship on this beautifully hand decorated “Cork Shooter”.
Line up, take aim and fire with all your friends and family, it’s all competitive fun. What you shoot off the shelves with our easy to operate rifles, you win!

Mirror Show
Great fun for adults and children alike, viewing themselves in our crazy mirrors. Each of the eleven different mirrors giving a different comical reflection, making you appear very tall, very short, very wide etc. It’s great amusement.
The mirrors can also be hired as free standing items, providing great party and corporate entertainment.

Adult Striker
As with several of our other pieces, we can quite confidently say that you will not find better than this!
Our twenty-five feet high striker, or 'test your strength hammer', is extremely rare. It has beautifully carved side 'wings' complete with brilliant cut mirrors, it is over one hundred years old and still providing fun across the generations.

Great fun for small children. Try to ring the bell and get a prize every time!

Aunt Sally
The one and only Aunt Sally is a hilarious funfair game for all ages.
Knock each of teeth down and watch the man fall to earn a prize! This unique piece has been kept in immaculate condition.

Each is housed in a 16’ diameter traditionally hand painted timber round stall.
Hook-a-Duck
Classic Fairground Family fun!
Catch one of the ‘swimming’ Ducks with a rod to win a prize. Everyone’s a winner!
Roll Downs
A game of skill as well as luck…
Simply roll balls down an inclined ramp to land in one of six numbered sections. Once all the balls have been rolled, add the numbers up.

Ring’s and Block’s
Practise makes perfect on this popular, competitive fairground game. It’s great fun to try!
Test your aim as you toss a wooden ring, landing it over a block to win.
Fairground Goodie
Each is housed in a 16’ diameter traditionally hand painted timber round stall.
Candy Floss, Fresh Popcorn and Traditional Fairground Sweets
Invented by a dentist and first introduced to the World’s Fair as “fairy floss” in 1904, candy floss has been a staple at fairgrounds ever since.
Served alongside fresh popcorn and other popular sweets and treats on a beautifully decorated hand painted cart, with twisted brass rods and the sweet smell of candy floss.
